I have been promising to do more video tutorials on presentation techniques. In an earlier post I talked about rubber cement for mounting finished design work on presentation board. Here is another method of mounting. Dry mounting or hot mounting is a more permanent method of mounting. It is also cleaner and a little quicker. The only problem with dry mounting is that it takes expensive equipment to do properly and only one person can mount at a time. The latter is a real problem with a program consisting of 400 students. This is the reason we do not teach you how to dry mount in the Foundations program. Once you complete the Foundations classes we encourage you to use this method for all presentation boards.
