Good and Bad Ad Results

As I have stated in previous posts, the results of the first project are usually not very good for a variety of reasons. One of the biggest problems seems to be the difficulty in creating a visually dynamic concept that will serve the original intent of the “Bad” ad. It’s pretty easy to clean up the typography, the clutter, the layout, the hierarchy and most of the visual design aspects of the original ad but the concept, that’s another story. unfortunately, that is one of the key components that will set the ad apart and make it into not just a good ad but a great one. This project is very important, if for no other reason, than to point out this simple fact. Without concept the ad is just another pretty face!
